The owner and meat sommelier, Tsuyoshi Katsumata, is dedicated to showcasing the best taste of meat. With years of culinary expertise, he founded "SAFARI" in 2005 and expanded it to seven stores in the center of Tokyo. In 2012, he opened Niku Katsumata as a membership-based store for gourmands and celebrities to indulge in grilled meat. Mr. Katsumata's passion for the meat industry also led him to establish the Japan Meat Sommelier Association.

At Niku Katsumata, we are proud to offer lean Wagyu beef that has been carefully selected by our meat sommelier. Our commitment to quality means that the management of cattle and preservation of meat are done to the highest Japanese standards.
